Washington, DC - May 14, 2000 - The U.S. Department of Transportation has selected The Adams National Bank as the Metropolitan Washington partner in the Disadvantaged Business Enterprises Short Term Lending Program. This program provides financing, at prime rate with no fees, for transportation related projects.

The funds committed to improving the roads and bridges in the Metropolitan Washington area are significant. Now we have the low cost financing available to small and minority owned businesses enabling them to expand their participation in these projects."
